<br />Regular City Council Meeting - 02/09/04 <br />Page 42 <br /> <br />City Manager Beets requested additional time for staff to provide <br />more detailed comment to the Council. <br /> <br />The makers of the motion concurred with extending the time to <br />the March 15,2004 Work Session. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kough noted the pilot program recently-enacted <br />program for community clean-up, with results available in April <br />of this year to make further determinations as to its success. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Ihlan, Schroeder, Maschka, Kough and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />Mayor Klausing expressed his appreciation to Councilmember <br />Schroeder for his initiative; reminding all Councilmembers that, <br />for future reference, they use the opportunity to provide prior <br />notice to include items on the agenda for consideration and <br />discussion purposes. <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />Designate Council Meeting Start Time <br />Mayor Klausing noted that, while there was statutory <br />requirement to establish a meeting time, Council consensus <br />would indicate a preference to do so. <br /> <br />Klausing moved, Maschka seconded, designating the Council <br />meeting start time at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kough requested staff to highlight start times if <br />a situation arose where there was a need to deviate from the 6:00 <br />p.m. schedule, in an effort to avoid confusion. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Ihlan, Schroeder, Maschka, Kough and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />Designate Council <br />Meeting Start Time <br />
