<br />Encourage everyone to consider very seriously increasing the housing component at <br />Twin lakes, including mid-rise condominiums as well as one and two story attached <br />townhomes and row houses. <br /> <br />Housing developments require the highest level of environmental clean-up, which is <br />good. <br /> <br />Housing is not subject to the state taking a share of the increment from redevelopment. <br /> <br />Nor does Housing entail a fiscal disparities contribution. <br /> <br />Moreover, thoughtful, well-designed housing could strengthen our Roseville sense of <br />community. <br /> <br />Though it is counter-productive from the standpoint of maximizing the amount of TIF <br />resources to contribute to this redevelopment, I think a larger housing component than we <br />have envisioned before ought to include some meaningful component of affordable <br />housing. <br />
