Red Lobstex Inn reques't for special use permit and variance to sign height <br />and. size at 1921 Highway 36. The Red Lobster Inn is a subsidiaxy o£ General <br />Mills Corporation and ope�ates numerous Lobster Inns in various parts of the <br />Country. The propexty is zoned B-1-B and, therefare, the special use permit <br />is required for the si�e plan. The sign proposed is 2b� ft high and 177 sq, <br />ft. in area. The ordinance pexmits a 25 foot high sign with 70 sq. ft, in <br />area. <br />'Fhe applicant is a2so requesting that the Planning Comrnission hearzng and <br />Council hearing he advertised simultaneously. Therefore, if approved, the <br />Planning Commission hearing would be February 5, and the Council hearing <br />February 10. <br />2.
