Mr. Curtis also advised that the water hydrant across from his home had been hit, was tipping and should be repaired. City Manager Beets advised the City Council and Mr. Curtis that staff would look into both concerns expressed by Mr. Curtis; and would advise the Council and Mr. Curtis whether an agreement was in place between the Cemetery and the City for mowing and maintenance of boulevards; and Mr. Beets thanked Mr. Curtis for bringing the damaged hydrant to the City's attention. B. Tam McGehee, 77 Mid Oaks Lane Ms. McGehee displayed an advertisement from the Roseville Review sponsored by "Roseville Twin Lakes LLC," and questioned the identity of the advertiser. Ms. McGehee alleged that the advertising was misleading and was similar in appearance to several items sponsored by the "Friends of Twin Lakes." Ms. McGehee further alleged that if this was an advertisement of the developer's consortium for Twin Lakes, it was attempting to influence the City's upcoming Municipal Primary Election, and questioned those ethics. 2. Approve Minutes Approve Minutes City Manager Beets noted that a Special City Council meeting was scheduled for Thursday, September 15,2005 at 6:00 p.rn. to canvass the Municipal Primary Election; and encouraged all citizens to vote. Discussion ensued regarding the date and time of the scheduled Special City Council meeting, with Mayor Klausing suggesting discussion later in the meeting to ensure a quorum would be present to canvass the votes. Councilmember Schroeder requested staff to schedule the Special Council meetings at the earliest possible date and to provide clear and definitive scheduling on the meeting calendar (i.e., Novemb~r canvass of Municipal Election results).
