<br />City Council Regular Meeting - 09/12/05 <br />Minntes - Page 2 <br /> <br />maintained without his repeated calls to City Hall. <br /> <br />Mr. Curtis also advised that the water hydrant across from <br />his home had been hit, was tipping and should be repaired. <br /> <br />City Manager Beets advised the City Council and Mr. <br />Curtis that staff would look into both concerns expressed <br />by Mr. Curtis; and would advise the Council and Mr. Curtis <br />whether an agreement was in place between the Cemetery <br />and the City for mowing and maintenance of boulevards; <br />and Mr. Beets thanked Mr. Curtis for bringing the damaged <br />hydrant to the City's attention. <br /> <br />B. Tam McGehee, 77 Mid Oaks Lane <br />Ms. McGehee displayed an advertisement from the <br />Roseville Review sponsored by "Roseville Twin Lakes <br />LLC," and questioned the identity of the advertiser. Ms. <br />McGehee alleged that the advertising was misleading and <br />was similar in appearance to several items sponsored by the <br />"Friends of Twin Lakes." Ms. McGehee further alleged <br />that if this was an advertisement of the developer's <br />consortium for Twin Lakes, it was attempting to influence <br />the City's upcoming Municipal Primary Election, and <br />questioned those ethics. <br /> <br />2. Approve Minutes Approve Minutes <br />City Manager Beets noted that a Special City Council meeting <br />was scheduled for Thursday, September 15,2005 at 6:00 p.rn. to <br />canvass the Municipal Primary Election; and encouraged all <br />citizens to vote. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued regarding the date and time of the scheduled <br />Special City Council meeting, with Mayor Klausing suggesting <br />discussion later in the meeting to ensure a quorum would be <br />present to canvass the votes. <br /> <br />Councilmember Schroeder requested staff to schedule the <br />Special Council meetings at the earliest possible date and to <br />provide clear and definitive scheduling on the meeting calendar <br />(i.e., Novemb~r canvass of Municipal Election results). <br />
