Approve Minutes <br /> <br />Approve Minutes <br /> <br />2.a Council Meeting of September 26, 2005 September 26, 2005 <br />Maschka moved, Ihlan seconded, approval of the <br />September 26, 2005 Regular Meeting minutes as presented. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Ihlan; Maschka; Kough; Schroeder and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Consider Consent Items <br />There were no changes to the Consent Agenda. <br /> <br />Consent Items <br /> <br />At the request of Mayor Klausing, City Manager Beets briefly <br />reviewed those items being considered under the Consent <br />Agenda. <br /> <br />3.a Approve Check Register Check Register <br />Councilmember Kough questioned staff relating to <br />charges listed on Page 3 of the Check Register for <br />Marsden Building Maintenance, Inc. for contract <br />maintenance; the actual charges to-date and whether the <br />charges would remain within budget. <br /> <br />Finance Director Chris Miller addressed the itemized <br />billing received monthly from the contractor for general <br />custodial services, noting the billings were allocated to the <br />various City facilities as applicable and were within <br />budget. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kough also questioned various items <br />listed for resale (i.e., at the golf course) and whether there <br />were substantial profits realized from such resold items. <br /> <br />Mr. Miller noted that the items brought in a small amount <br />of surplus, used to offset expenses. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kough also questioned the Parks and <br />Recreation Department membership payment for the U.S. <br />Speedskating Club and questioned why the City would be <br />
