The �linnesota Highway Repartment is <br />now in the pr�cess of completing the �inai plans and specifications for tt�is work, <br />as well as the adver�ising for the canstruction. iiaarever, be�ore the contraet can <br />be awarded for such construction, an agreement zs required b�trveen ihe P�innesota <br />Nightivay Department and the City far the local government share of this project. It <br />is eurrenily estimated that this i�nprovement wi71 cost approximate7y $8Q,QOQ, of wt�ich <br />90q woul d corr�e from the federai government, �� from the State Mi ghway �epartment and <br />5q from 1 ocal government. Other condi tior�s are that �he Ci ty coul d provi de the <br />necessary electrical power for the operation of the facilities, as weil as cieaning, <br />re�ar�ping and painting. of the signal and the total maintenance of the street lights. <br />The State wi�l, upon completian of the work, maintain and do alI majar repair of �he <br />traffic signa�. <br />A locai government share af Lhis project is �4,240.
