OF ROSEVILLE, MIIVNES�'A <br />�� -December 10, 1973 <br />* � * * * � * �r � �r * * � <br />P�rsuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular <br />meeting af tl�,e Village Coimcil of the Village of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, was duly called and held at the Village Hall in said <br />Village on Monday, ��er 10, 1973 at 7:30 P.M. <br />The following members were present: ��„or Linebarger, <br />Councilmen Grauel, Anderson, Brennan, Curley <br />and the following members were absent: None <br />Member Ct�J.�y iniroduced the following resolution <br />and �ved its adaption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. b053 <br />Wi�REP�.S, the Legislature of the State of Minnesota, di.d <br />approve an May 21, 1973, House File 2].7; Chapter 464 0£ the 1973 <br />Law relating to the Village of Rosevilie Firemen's Relief Association <br />Service Pensions by amending Laws I965, Chapter 598, Sec�i.on 1, Sub. 1, and <br />WHEREA.S, the Village of Roseville and the Firemen's ReJ.ief <br />Association both desire that one further change be made in the language <br />now embodied in Chapter 464; <br />NOW, Tf-�REFORE, BE TT RE50LUED by the Village Co�cil of the <br />Vil].age oi Roseville, that the State Legislators representing the <br />Village of Roseville be req�sted to introd.uce Iegislation in the 1974 <br />Session to amend Laws 19739 Chapter 464, Section 2, to read as follows: <br />"The Village Council shall have a power by _ ordinance <br />to increase the service pensions authorized by Section l, <br />fox twenty (20) years service to a maximt� of $I80 pex <br />month plus $9.00 per month for each year of service in <br />excess of twenty (2Q) y+ears up to a ma.�cimum of $270 per <br />month. 5uch ordinance.if enacted sha11 apply tv members <br />retiring �rio�r to or after the e£fective date of the <br />ordinance an�no increase shall be granted unless justified <br />by an actt�ial survey." � <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregair�g resolurion was <br />duly seconded by member Brennan and upon a wte being taken, <br />the following v�ofied in favor of the resolution: All present <br />;: <br />
