WHEREA5, the Legis�ature of the State of Nlinnesota, did approve on May 21, 1973, House Fiie 217, Chapter 464 of the 1973 Law relating to the City of Rdseville Firemen's Re].ie£ Associatian Service Pensions by amending Laws 19b5, Chapter �98, Section 1, Sub. l, and Wf�REAS, the City of Rasevi].le and �he Firemen.'s Relie� Association both desire that one �ur�her change be made in the language nc�w embadi.ed in Chapter 464; NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RBSQLVED by the City Coun.cil of the City of Roseville, thai the Sfiate Lebislators xepxesenting the Ciry o� Rosev��e be requested to introduce legislation in �he 1975 Session to amend Laws �973, Ghapter 464, Section Z, io read as fo�lows: "The C:ity Coun.cil sha.I1 have a pow�r by ordinance to increase fh.e service pensions authorized by Section 1, for twenty (20) yea�s service to a maximinn of $180 per month plus �9.0a pex month for each year of service in excess o� twenty (LD) years up ta a m�xim�mi of $270 per month. Such ordinance if enacted sha11 apply to rnembers retiring prior to or aft�x the effective date af the ordinance and no increase sha�l be granted unless justified by an actuarzal su�-�rey."
