Kough moved, Ihlan seconded, authorizing acceptance of the Minnesota Recreation and Parks Association (MRP A) 2005 Award of Excellence for Programming and Events for the 2004 Wild Rice Festival. S.b Recognize Anchor Bank for donation to July 4th Fireworks Assistant Parks and Recreation Director Jill Anfang, introduced Suzette Ainsworth and son Mason, and thanked Ms. Ainsworth for her personal support; and that of Anchor Bank, in providing part of the July 4th Fireworks display for Rosefest 2004 and 2005. Ms. Anfang presented a plaque to Ms. Ainsworth as a token of the City's appreciation. Ms. Anfang further noted Ms. Ainsworth's expertise in providing her marketing and promotion expertise; and the attendance of Anchor Bank employees in supporting the event, greeting the public, and promotional materials for the Medallion hunt. Mayor Klausing noted the excellent Central Park celebration and fireworks display, noted the regional draw and attention received for this event; and expressed his personal appreciation for Anchor Bank's participation in the event. Ms. Ainsworth expressed her appreciation to the City for providing the opportunity to participate. Maschka moved, Schroeder seconded, recogmtlOn of Anchor Bank of Arden Hills for their significant financial contribution and sponsorship of the July 4, 2005 fireworks display.
