R�VfEWEa/RECOMMENDS: <br />1975 Salary Adjustments-Unorganized <br />� _ Employees <br />_ � <br />1n .7uly o£ this year �he City contracted with the League of hiinnesota �funicipaaities <br />to conduct a classifiCation and pay-plan study_-fcar certain city employ�es. <br />Included �n the siu�y are those em�iloyees kho do not belong to an organized union <br />group, or who are not part of the management and supervisory classifica�ion plan. <br />It is not possa.ble thai this study be completed and reviewecl by the employees prior <br />to mid January 1975. A� this time it is recomrr�en�ed that a 1Q� general zncrease <br />be implemen�ed. �or those employ�es in this group and as 1is�.ed in the attached <br />xeso].ution. Thi.s adjusiment is in line with adjustments'presently �aeing made in <br />municipalities re}�resented in the 1�'IAMA Assaciation. <br />A review of the prelaminary study data �ndicates that a 10% general increase would <br />not present par�icuiar di£ficulties in establishing a classification and pay plan <br />for tYtis group of employees. It is, however, anticipated that some special <br />adjustments;may be warranted after the plan is finally appxoved by the Council. <br />Ac�.ion Requested: Moti.on adopting a xesolution establashing <br />compensation for certain City employees <br />effective January 1, 1975. <br />0 <br />
