I find this to be a very bold statement. I'd like to see how staff <br />has developed this projection. Have they taken into the consideration the volatility of commodity <br />markets and the many special factors that affect them. The city could just as easily realize $0. per year <br />through a "commodity pricing" based revenue sharing plan. I hope you will question staff on this. <br /> <br />At the August 22, 2005 council meeting, the council ignored the recommendation of the Roseville's PWET <br />commission to solicit single sort recycling providers. Instead the council directed Mr. Pratt to go forward <br />with an RFP that he borrowed from the City of Maplewood. This is the same RFP that Maplewood used to <br />select Eureka Recycling as that cities provider starting in 2006.
