KBEM's Phil Nusbaum (Bluegrass Saturday Morning) acts as MC, announcing and interviewing bluegrass and other "Roots Music" performers. Time and space are also provided for informal music jam sessions before stage acts begin. Harriet Alexander Nature Center highlights the mosquito theme with fun and informative activities related to mosquitoes. This is a popular summer event for teens in the community to attend and cheer on local, up &coming talent. 400 -500 attendees of all ages, generally teens adult and supporting families. This event is well marketed to neighbors, area school campuses, and teen websites. Volunteers are needed to facilitate this event.
