<br />WHEREAS, the capital improvements and renovations include: building entryway improvements; <br />scoreboard replacement; bleacher seating & resurfacer pad heating; installation of gas <br />fireplace and snow melt pit; renovation of banquet facility kitchen and bathrooms; <br />sound system upgrade; installation of facility monitoring equipment; and replacement of <br />OV AL tarmac, skate park equipment, and rink divider pads <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council supports the request for state funds in <br />2006 in the amount of $960,000 for capital improvements and renovation to the John Rose Minnesota <br />OV AL and requests that the amount be included in the Governors 2006 bonding bill <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Kough, and <br />upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Ihlan, Maschka, Kough, <br />Schroeder and Klausing <br />and the following voted against the same: none. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
