<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF A MEETING <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE, <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />ofRoseville, County of Ramsey, State of Milmesota, was duly held in the City Hall at <br />2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, on August 25,2004. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Maschka, Schroeder, Klausing, Kough, Ihlan <br />and the following members were absent: None <br /> <br />Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # 10343 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER TO <br />SUBMIT AN APPLICATION FOR CONTAMINATION CLEANUP GRANT FOR <br />TWIN LAKES PROJECT, PHASE 1, STAGE 1 <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Roseville act as the legal sponsor for proj ect( s) <br />contained in the Contamination Cleanup Grant Program to be submitted on November 1, <br />2004 and that the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to apply to the <br />Department of Employment and Economic Development for funding of this project on <br />behalf of the City of Roseville. <br /> <br />BE IF FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Roseville has approved the <br />Contamination Cleanup grant application submitted to the Department of Employment <br />and Economic Development on November 1,2004 by the City of Roseville for the Twin <br />Lakes Phase 1, stage 1 site. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Roseville has the legal authority to <br />apply for financial assistance, and the institutional, managerial, and financial capability to <br />ensure adequate project administration. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sources and amounts of the local match <br />identified in the application are committed to the project identified. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Roseville has not violated any <br />Federal, State or local laws pertaining to fraud, bribery, graft, kickbacks, collusion, <br />conflict of interest or other unlawful or corrupt practice. <br />
