<br />Section 5. Standards for direct notification. Size and spacing of markers posted on <br />premises, content of personal notice. <br /> <br />Section 6. Emergency applications. Emergency applications of pesticides without <br />notification shall be permitted in the event of an imminent threat to human health. <br />Reports of emergency applications must be made to the commissioner and shll be public <br />data. <br /> <br />Section 7. Administrative penalties. In addition to penalties for violations of ordinances, <br />cities may impose administrative penalties of up to $1000 per affected person for first <br />offenders and up to $10,000 per person for repeat offenders. <br /> <br />Section 8. Penalties not affected. This law does not displace Minnesota criminal statutes <br />that may be applicable to intentional acts committed with a pesticide, nor does it interfere <br />with the powers of the commissioner of agriculture pursuant to MS 18B (relating to <br />pesticide misuse). <br />
