<br />City Council Regular Meeting - 12/05/05 <br />Minutes - Page 10 <br /> <br />center; in accordance with City Council policy; with a goal <br />to cover expenditures from fees, not taxes. Mr. Kysylyczyn <br />noted that the current proposed $150,000 budget for OVAL <br />subsidies could be eliminated by making the facility self- <br />sustaining. <br /> <br />Mr. Kysylyczyn concluding by stating that, during his <br />tenure, expenditures were kept at the rate of inflation; and <br />questioned the current Council's deviation from keeping the <br />budget reasonable and in line with inflation. <br /> <br />Mayor Klausing closed the Truth in Taxation Public Hearing at <br />7: 12 p.m., thanking everyone for their attendance and comments. <br /> <br />Regular City Council Business Meeting/Roll Call <br />Mayor Klausing called to order the regular business meeting of <br />the Roseville City Council regular meeting at approximately 7: 15 <br />p.m. and welcomed everyone. <br /> <br />Regular <br />Meeting/Roll Call <br />7:15 p.m. <br /> <br />Roll Call (Voting and Seating Order) <br />Councilmembers Maschka; Schroeder; Kough; Ihlan and Mayor <br />Klausing. All were present. <br /> <br />City Attorney Scott Anderson was also present. <br /> <br />Approve Agenda Approve Agenda <br />Mayor Klausing called for any comments or discussion on <br />tonight's Agenda. There were no amendments to the agenda as <br />presented. <br /> <br />1. Receive Public Comment about City Issues Public Comment <br />Mayor Klausing called for public comment by members of the <br />audience on any non-agenda items. <br /> <br />A. Steve Burwell, 2482 Albert Street <br />Mr. Burwell advised that, following last week's regular <br />meeting, he had been approached by one of the Twin Lakes <br />Redevelopment area developers, who allegedly infonned <br />him that the liquor license for Twin Lakes was a "done <br />deal." Mr. Burwell sought assurances that no one from <br />City staff or the City Council was making promises or <br />
