<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 19th day of December 2005 at <br />6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Kough, Maschka, Ihlan, Schroeder and Klausing <br />and the following were absent: none. <br /> <br />Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 10364 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE FINAL 2006 ANNUAL BUDGET <br />FOR THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota has reviewed the City's <br />Programs and Services and available funding, and has agreed to adopt the City Manager's <br />Revised Budget - Option D; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council hereby authorized the following personnel-related changes, which <br />are included in the 2006 Final Budget: <br /> <br />1) Create a Police Captain position * <br />2) Eliminate a Police Sergeant position * <br />3) Create an Assistant Plmmer position in the Community Development Budget <br />4) Eliminate a Department Assistant position in the Community Development Budget <br /> <br />* Pending a final internal revicw of Police personnel, the Police Captain position would be filled by a current Police Lieutenant. A current Police <br />Sergeant would be elevated to the vacated Lieutenant position, thereby allowing for the elimination of one (I) Sergeant Position, Total staffing <br />levels in the Police Dcpartment would remain unchanged, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />Milmesota, as follows: <br />
