EXTRACT OF MWUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly called held at the City Hall on Tuesday, the 14th day of July, 1997 at 6:30 P.M. The following members were present: Goedeke, Maschka, Mastel, Wall, and Wiski and the following were absent: None. Council Member Mastel introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 94 27 RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR A BEAUTY PARLOR AS A HOME OCCUPATION AT 1120 COUNTY ROAD C2 W WHEREAS, Section 1 004.02C ofthe Roseville City Code allows beauty parlors and barber shops as a conditional use within an R-1 Single Family Residential District with provisions; and WHEREAS, Ms. Laura Alwan has requested a conditional use permit to allow a beauty parlor as a home occupation at 1120 County Road C2; and WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on the request on Wednesday, June 11, 1997, and recommended approval of the requested conditional use permit subject to conditions; and WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council received the Planning Commission's recommendation on Monday, June 23,1997, and Monday, July 14,1997; and WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council made the following findings: 1. The proposed use of the property for a one operator beauty parlor will have a minimum impact on traffic in the area. The property is located at the intersection of Country Road C2 W, which is a cul-de-sac with six single family residential lots, and Lexington Avenue N, which is a minor arterial. 2. The proposed use of the property for a one operator beauty parlor will not have an impact on parks, streets and other public facilities. Resolution 9427 - Page 1 of 3
