<br />August 13th <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Beets <br /> <br />I support the full operation of the Harriet Alexander Nature Center. <br /> <br />As a volunteer since 1993 when I moved here from Tenn. I have watched it grow and <br />become a great experience hand-on lesson to various groups of children from the pre- <br />school age to the teens. We have many groups of handicapped children, boy scout and girl <br />scout troops as well as school groups come to learn and enjoy it. <br /> <br />It is amazing how many children bring their parents and grand parents to see what they <br />have worked with learning these nature things. <br /> <br />Our younger generation needs the special knowledge they receive here. <br /> <br />I will gladly pay the extra tax to help these children learn more about our natural <br />environment. <br /> <br />Sincerely <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Mary E.
