Recess Mayor Klausing recessed the meeting at approximately 9:00 p.m. and reconvened at 9: 13 p.m. Recess 9.f COUNCIL DIRECTION COUNCIL DIRECTION I . Appoint Council Liaison to the BRA? Appoint Council F our members of the HRA were present for discussion Liaison to the ofHRA and City Council issues. BRA? Mayor Klausing asked HRA Chair Bill Majerus to expound on his perception of the HRA's role in the community. Chair Majerus opined that housing was important now and to the future of Roseville. Mr. Majerus expressed the HRA's commitment, individually and as a body, to accomplish the Council's desire for the betterment of the community; and recognized and endorsed the collaborative goals of the City Council and the HRA to make Roseville a better place. Mr. Majerus encouraged moving forward to accomplish those goals and programs. Mayor Klausing addressed the background about recent HRA action, and Council reaction and discussion, regarding the implementation of Eminent Domain proceedings at 2012 Eldridge; and the home's subsequent demolition by the owner. Speaking for himself, Mayor Klausing explained that his concern was not a questioning of individual HRA motivations, but to his perception of the role and authority of the City Council as the City's elected policy makers, and a need to protect that role. Mayor Klausing opined that, as elected officials, Councilmembers have the "feel" of the community;
