EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL CITY OF ROSEVILLE RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall on Monday, the fourteenth day of July, 1997, at 6:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Mastel, Maschka, Wi ski, Goedeke, and Wall and the following were absent: None. Councilmember Wiski introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 9428 RESOLUTION ORDERING PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS WESTERN A VENUE, MINNESOTA A VENUE, CIVIC CENTER DRIVE WHEREAS, phase two of the Pavement Management Program includes mill and overlay improvements; and WHEREAS, Minnesota Avenue from Lovell Avenue to Rice Street, Western Avenue from County Road B-2 to County Road C, and Civic Center Drive from County Road C to Woodhill Drive are programmed for mill and overlay; and WHEREAS, Western Avenue, S.AP. 160-222-07, Minnesota Avenue, S.AP. 160-223-04, and Civic Center Drive, S.AP. 160-222-07 are part of the City ofRoseville's Municipal State system and are eligible for State Aid funds; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City ofRoseville, Minnesota: 1. City Project P-97-12, mill and overlay improvements of Minnesota Avenue, Western Avenue, and Civic Center Drive, is hereby approved. 2. The City Manager shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the~, the official newspaper, and in the Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the making of such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement for bids shall be published as required by law, shall specify the work to be done, shall call the bids on the basis of cash payment for such work, shall state that the bids will be received by the City Manager and Director of Public Works on August 19, 1997, at which time they will be publicly opened in the City Hall by the City Manager and subsequently be considered by the City Council; and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Manager and accompanied by a cash deposit, certified check, or bid bond payable to the Manager for ten percent of the amount of such bid.
