Call Roll and Adopt Agenda 6:00 p.m. <br />Mayor Klausing called the regular meeting of the Roseville City <br />Council to order at 6:00 p.m. City Hall Council Chambers, on the <br />above date and welcomed everyone. <br /> <br />Roll Call (Voting Order) Roll Call <br />Councilmembers Maschka, Ihlan; Kough; Schroeder, and Mayor <br />Klausing. All were present. <br /> <br />Adopt Agenda Adopt Agenda <br />By consensus, the Agenda was adopted as presented. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Public Comment about City Issues <br />No one appeared to speak regarding non-agenda issues. <br /> <br />Public Comment <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Update on Mounds View Schools <br />Mayor Klausing welcomed Independent School District No. 621 <br />Superintendent Dr. Jan Witthuhn, and School Board Member <br />Marre Jo Sager, to the meeting for the purpose of providing an <br />update to the City Council and the public regarding proposed <br />closing schools and repurposing buildings in response to <br />declining enrollment and revenue. <br /> <br />Update on <br />Mounds View <br />Schools <br /> <br />Ms. Sager defined definitions of "closing schools" and <br />"repurposing buildings" and reviewed the goals of tonight's <br />meeting that included, Mission of the District; financial <br />projections; enrollment projections; decision-making process; <br />feedback on criteria; and the community's role. <br /> <br />Ms. Sager reviewed each component in more detail, providing <br />statistical and demographic research completed and in process. <br />Specific items of note included, a decline in administration <br />
