All three of us have discussed this issue at length, and unequivocally and
categorically oppose the proposed plan.

Our family votes "NO" to the big box retail
NO to the parking lot
NO to the gas station
NO to any changes in the layout of the trails and the landscape of the park NO to
subsidies to the developers

This plan will damage our lakes, it will damage our property values, it will damage our
children's sense of safety, it will damage the rare natural oasis that we here in this
neighborhood treasure so much! ! !

NO, NO, NO, NO, NO and NO to this plan.

I have unofficially "polled" our cul-de -sac on this issue and, trust me, there is not a
single person who would find this current plan good or beneficial or even acceptable. It
is a bad plan!

want to believe that you, who were elected to be good stewards of the city's
environment, will think again and again about the damage this plan will do if you
recklessly pass it. I hope that you will vote a resounding "NO" to this awful and
expensive, to add injury to the insult, plan.

Our family also wants you to know that we fully support Amy Ihlan's position on this issue
and we are asking you to regard her opinions as fully representative of our own.

Sincerely,

Irina, Ronald and Natasha Walter
~rior Circle
Roseville, 55113
phone: f J u u

PS Do remember that a resounding success of Amy Ihlan's campaign (at the time a newcomer
to the city politics) for a city council's position was due mostly to how strongly people
felt about the Twin Lakes situation, and that we believed (and we right) that she would do
right by the city and its people. It seems to us that her success in the campaign could be
concidered an unofficial "referendum" on the question.

1
