<br />City Council Regular Meeting - 10/11/04 <br />Minutes - Page 10 <br /> <br />Matt Auron, Manager of Local Government Affairs, was <br />also present during the presentation. <br /> <br />Mayor Klausing thanked Ms. Daubert and Mr. Auron for <br />their presentation. <br /> <br />6. Update from the Roseville Housing and Redevelopment HRA Update <br />Authority (HRA) <br />HRA Commissioner Jill Bean provided the Council with an <br />update on the HRA's activities, opportunities and <br />accomplishments to-date. <br /> <br />Ms. Bean specifically noted the workforce housing at <br />Applewood Pointe; the McCarron's Neighborhood Study; and <br />resolution of the Eldridge Street nuisance property. <br /> <br />Ms. Bean encouraged continued Council and public input and <br />feedback on HRA issues; and anticipated providing more <br />periodic updates to the City Council to facilitate communication <br />between the two bodies. <br /> <br />Ms. Bean remained for the next portion of the meeting, and <br />provided additional input to staff comments. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />HRA Report on Multi-family Housing Study (HF4) <br />HRA Executive Director Cathy Bennett provided a draft report <br />on the multi-family housing study being conducted by the HRA, <br />as directed by the City Council as part of the approved HRA <br />2004 Budget and Levy. <br /> <br />HRA <br />Multi-family <br />Housing Study <br />(HF4) <br /> <br />Ms. Bennett noted that the HRA entered into a contract with <br />John Carpenter of Excensus to gather demographic data relating <br />to Roseville' s multi - family housing stock in 2003; and <br />information was collected by that firm, and the Community <br />Development Departlnent's GIS staff over the course of 2003 <br />and 2004. Ms. Bennett proceeded to overview the findings of <br />the study for Council information and consumption: <br /> <br />
