<br />City Council Regular Meeting - 10/25/04 <br />Minutes - Page 8 <br /> <br />on the status of the seeding of a portion of the City Hall <br />lawn. <br /> <br />City Manager Beets advised that the area in question was <br />seeded in native grass, and would mature more slowly <br />than anticipated. Mr. Beets noted that the City was <br />provided a two-year guarantee on all seeding. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kough sought clarification as to the final <br />date to button up expenses for construction over-runs. <br /> <br />City Manager Beets advised that staff was working toward <br />that end, and was awaiting resolution of signage issues, <br />and other minor contract issues. Mr. Beets noted that, at <br />that time, staff would provide the City Council with a final <br />accounting. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kough noted that HV AC systems needed <br />to be fine-tuned prior to contractor sign-off. <br /> <br />City Manager Beets advised that the system was in the <br />process of being balanced. <br /> <br />Councilmember Maschka requested that staff provide time <br />at a future Study Session, after the project's completion, <br />for a discussion of the project with the McGough <br />Construction to determine their interpretation of the <br />process with the City serving as their own General <br />Contractor. <br /> <br />Kough moved, Maschka seconded, approval of the <br />following Change Orders to the contracts related to the <br />City Construction Project: <br /> <br />Contractor Add/Deduct Amount <br />Adolphson & Peterson, Inc. Add $6,388 <br />Harmon, Inc. Add 5,853 <br />Kellington Construction Add 19,704 <br />Collins Electric Add 7,902 <br />Steenberg Watrud Construction Add 1,829 <br />Metro Manufacturing, Inc. Add 1,380 <br />Heebink Architectural Woodwork Add 385 <br />
