The licenses to be renewed <br />include, ten (10) Off Sale Intoxicating (n1aximun1 of 10 allowed by City ordinance), t\venty-three <br />(23) On Sale Intoxicating, four (4) Club, nine (9) Wine, sixteen (16) On Sale 3.2 Non-Intoxicating <br />Malt Liquor, and nine (9) Off Sale 3.2 Non-Intoxicating Malt Liquor (City ordinance or state statute <br />do not lilnit the nun1ber of the last five types of licenses). A public hearing needs to be established <br />for the Novelnber 22, 2004 council n1eeting for the consideration of the renewal of these licenses. <br /> <br />FinanciallInplications <br /> <br />The revenue that is generated fron1 the license fees collected is used to offset the cost of police <br />con1pliance checks, background investigations, enforcen1ent of liquor laws, and license <br />adn1inistra tion. <br /> <br />Council Action <br /> <br />Motion establishing a public hearing on Ivlonday, Noven1ber 22, 2004 for the renewal of the <br />following liquor licenses for calendar year 2005. <br />
