The proposed Twin Lakes development has recently come to our attention. We urge the City of Roseville to carefully consider the negative impacts of this development on Langton Lake Park and its sU1Tounding ti~ighbDrhoods before this development is approved. ...1\.11 environmental problems of this development should be discussed before any permission is given to the developer. Parkland has an underlying value to the community which in this case may cause irreversible damage to the park and adjacent neighbors. Roseville has many beautiful parks and all efforts should be made to protect them. We understand the financial problems many local communities are facing, but the long term view should be taken when development is considered. If the quality of life in Roseville should decline because greenspace is not protected, the City loses in the long run. We urge the Council to carefully examine and weight the negative aspects of this development. Thank you.
