Ramsey County has indicated that they do not <br />have a schedule for updating signal timing plans and that their signal timing update efforts are <br />often in response to development related traffic changes. Existing geometry previously shown <br />on Figure 2 was used for analysis of all scenarios. <br /> <br />Pedestrian phasing and signal timings were used in the analysis. At most intersections analyzed <br />pedestrian traffic was low, less than five crossings during the peak hours. All pedestrian <br />crossing locations had push button actuation available. Including pedestrian phasing in the <br />signal timing plan forces minimum green times required for safe pedestrian crossing.
