Other Business <br /> <br />u.s. Mavor's Conference Attendance Request <br />Kysylyczyn moved approval for City of Roseville to cover <br />expenses for his attendance at the U. S. Mayor's Conferences in <br />Washington, D.C., from January 22 - 24,2003, should he <br />decide to attend. <br /> <br />Klausing moved, Maschka seconded, postponement of this <br />request until the next regular Council meeting. <br /> <br />Ayes: <br />Nays: <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Maschka and Klausing. <br />Kough, Schroeder and Kysylyczyn. <br /> <br />Motion failed. <br /> <br />Councilmember Klausing questioned why this request was not <br />included in writing as a regular agenda item, conducted in the <br />normal course of Council business. <br /> <br />Debate ensued regarding previous versus current policy of pre- <br />approval for conference attendance by Councilmembers; and <br />schedule hardships caused by delaying approval until the next <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Other Business <br />
