EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly called held at the City Hall on Monday, the 28th day of July, 1997 at 6:30 P.M. The following members were presentMastel, Maschka (arrived late), Wiski, Wall the following were absent Goedeke Member Mastel introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 9431 RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE REVIEW PERIOD FOR ROBERT SKUNDBERG REQUEST FOR A VARIANCE AT 1742 ALTA VISTA DRIVE WHEREAS, Robert Skundberg has requested a variance from Section 1004.02D, City Code, to reduce the minimum lot area and minimum lot width for the purpose of splitting a through lot into two parcels at 1742 Alta Vista Drive (PF2926); and WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on this request on July 9, 1997; and WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission tabled action on the request because questions were raised during the review process regarding access on Dale Street N, the extension of utilities to the new building site, and the soil conditions in the area created by filling during the realignment of Dale Street North; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has continued the public hearing until August 13, 1997, to allow the applicant an opportunity to provide the following additional information to the City: 1. Written permission from Ramsey County for a driveway on to Dale Street N from the new parcel (eastern portion of lot). 2. Written documentation from a soils engineer, including a soil borings report, that the new parcel is suitable for construction, or identifying what remedies are needed to correct the soils.
