<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 13th day of February, 2006 at 6:00 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Kough, Pust, Ihlan, and Maschka <br />and the following Members were absent: Mayor Klausing <br /> <br />Member Kough introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10375 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 5 YEAR EXTENSION TO THE EXISTING <br />INTERIM USE PERMIT FOR RAMSEY COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC <br />HEALTH AND 1ST SATELLITE HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE SITE (PF3663) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County Department of Public Health has requested a 5 year <br />extension to their existing ITERIM USE PERMIT originally approved in July 1992; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the INTERIM USE PERMIT allows Ramsey County Department of Public <br />Health to operate a satellite household hazardous waste site on County property near Kent Street <br />and Larpenteur Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the household hazardous waste site operates on a seasonal schedule, <br />typically during the summer months; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held a public hearing regarding the <br />INTERIM USE PERMIT extension request and voted (5-0) to recommended approve the <br />request, based on the comments outlined in Section 5 and the condition of Section 6 of the <br />project report dated 02/01106. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to grant Ramsey <br />County Department of Public Health a 5 year extension to their existing INTERIM USE <br />PERMIT allowing a seasonal satellite household hazardous waste site at the County's Kent Street <br />site, based on the comments in Section 5 of the project report dated February 13,2006, and the <br />following conditions: <br /> <br />1. The interim use permit shall be reviewed administratively on an annual basis <br />on the anniversary date of the resolution granting the interim use permit, <br />with a staff report submitted to the Planning Commission and City Council <br />as needed. <br /> <br />1 <br />
