EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL CITY OF ROSEVILLE RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, 13th day of March, 2006, at 6:00 p.m. The following members were present: Pust, Ihlan and Klausing and the following members were absent: Kough and Maschka Member Pust introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 10382 RESOLUTION PROHIBITING PARKING ON PORTIONS OF SOUTH OW ASSO BOULEVARD BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, as follows: WHEREAS, South Owasso Boulevard from Dale Street to Rice Street is a Municipal State Aid roadway; AND WHEREAS, such roadways are proposed to be reconstructed using Municipal State Aid funds and the reconstruction of such roadways must conform to established State Aid standards; AND WHEREAS, State Aid standards do not allow parking on 2 lane roads narrower than 32 feet; AND WHEREAS, the majority of S. Owasso Blvd will be 28 feet with no parking allowed; AND WHEREAS, there is proposed to be four parking bays where the street is widened to 32 feet to permit parking on one side. "No Parking- except in bays" signs will be installed to communicate the parking restrictions to drivers and the residents; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Roseville, that parking is hereby prohibited where street width does not meet State Aid standards for parking on one side; The motion was duly seconded by Ihlan and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Pust, Ihlan and Klausing and the following voted against: none. WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
