<br />Regular City Council Minutes - 9/15/03 <br />Page 9 <br /> <br />On behalf of the Council and Roseville residents, Mayor <br />Kysylyczyn recognized the Post's achievement; and each <br />were congratulated by individual Councilmembers and <br />staff present. <br /> <br />Fire Chief Gasaway further recognized the efforts of Greg <br />Peterson, who had served as the Post's lead advisor and <br />was the creator of the Post. <br /> <br />B. Roseville Women of Today Proclamation <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn proclaimed the week of September 21 <br />- 27, 2003 as Women of Today Week to recognize the <br />community activities of the dedicated Women of Today in <br />Roseville and across the nation. <br /> <br />C. Hispanic Heritage Month Proclamation <br />~v1ayor KysylyczYl1 proclainled the month of September 15 <br />- October 15, 2003 as Hispanic Heritage Month in the <br />City of Roseville, recognizing and honoring their <br />contributions to the community. <br /> <br />D. Accept Donation from Presbyterian Homes for the Are <br />You OK? Program <br />Police Chief Carol Sletner reviewed the Are You OK? <br />program and its concepts in providing a computerized <br />phone check of the City's senior citizens. <br /> <br />Chief Sletner advised that the rationale for the donation <br />was due to the need for replacement of the original DOS <br />computer system to continue this worthwhile program. <br /> <br />Kough moved, Klausing seconded, City Council <br />acceptance of a $500.00 donation for the purchase of a <br />new computer for the Are You OK?
