<br />Regular City Council Minutes - 9/29/03 <br />Page 6 <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Kough opened the Public Hearing at 7:02 Liquor at 1740 <br />p.m. Lexington Avenue <br /> <br />Finance Director Chris Miller reviewed findings of staff <br />during the investigative portion of the application process; <br />further advising that the City had a maximum of ten (10) <br />licenses available, and that approval of this application <br />would bring current license holders to nine (9). Staff <br />recommended approval of the license. <br /> <br />Maschka moved, Klausing seconded approval/denial of <br />the Off-Sale Intoxicating Liquor License for G & C Liquor <br />at 1740 Lexington A venue for the year ending December <br />31,2004. <br /> <br />Applicants, Ger B. Xiong and Chue Moua Jerry Schong, <br />were both in attendance and introduced themselves to the <br />Council and viewing public. <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Kough welcomed the applicants and wished <br />them well in their new venture. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Maschka, Schroeder, Klausing and Kough. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />VII. Approve Bids for Arona Pond Development as part of <br />the Applewood Pointe Project <br />Public Works Director Duane Schwartz summarized the <br />project and bids received for pond improvements; with <br />staff recommending approval of the bid to Don Zappa and <br />Son Excavating. <br /> <br />Maschka moved, Schroeder seconded adoption of <br />Resolution No. 10150 entitled, "Resolution Awarding <br />Bids for M-03-06 Arona Pond Improvement Project, <br /> <br />Land Use <br /> <br />Reports and <br />Recommendations <br /> <br />Resolution 10150 <br />Approve Bids for <br />Arona Pond <br />Development as <br />part of the <br />Applewood Pointe <br />Project <br />
