The licenses to be renewed <br />include twenty-three (23) On Sale (n1axin1un1 30 allowed by state statute), eight (8) Off Sale <br />(n1axin1unl of 10 allowed by City ordinance), four (4) Club, nine (9) \Nine, thirteen (13) On Sale 3.2 <br />Non-Intoxicating Malt Liquor, and nine (9) Off Sale 3.2 Non-Intoxicating Malt Liquor (City <br />ordinance or state statute do not linlit the nunlber of the last four types of licenses). A public hearing <br />needs to be established for the DeceI11ber 8th, 2003 council nleeting for the consideration of the <br />renewal of these licenses. <br /> <br /> <br />The revenue that is generated fr0111 the license fees collected is used to offset the cost of police <br />con1pliance checks, background investigations, enforcen1ent of liquor laws, and license <br />adI11inistration. <br /> <br />Council Action <br /> <br />Motion establishing a public hearing on Monday, DeceI11ber 8th, 2003 for the renewal of the <br />following liquor licenses for calendar year 2004. <br />
