<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING
<br />OF CITY COUNCIL
<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE
<br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA
<br />
<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville,
<br />County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville,
<br />Minnesota, on Monday, the 10th day of April, 2006, at 6:00 o'clock p.m.
<br />
<br />The following members were present: Ihlan, Kough, Maschka, Pust and Klausing and the following
<br />were absent:
<br />
<br />Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
<br />
<br />RESOLUTION 10395
<br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BIDS
<br />FOR 2006 CONTRACT C
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, according to the plans and
<br />specifications thereof on file in the office of the Manager of said City, said bids were received on
<br />Wednesday, April 5, 2006, at 9:00 a.m., opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were
<br />received complying with the advertisement:

<br />Midwest Asphalt, Inc. $821,238.14
<br />North Valley, Inc $887,033.18
<br />T.A. Schifskyand Sons, Inc. $899,720.19
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, it appears that Hardrives, Inc. of Rogers, Minnesota, is the lowest responsible bidder at the
<br />tabulated price of$837,872.05 and
<br />
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota:
<br />
<br />1. The Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Hardrives,
<br />Inc., for $736,217.92 in the name of the City of Roseville for the above improvements according to
<br />the plans and specifications thereof heretofore approved by the City Council and on file in the office
<br />of the City Manager.
<br />2. This approval is contingent on the approval of the contract by the Falcon Heights City Council for
<br />their work included in the contract.
<br />3. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits
<br />made with their bids except the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be
<br />retained until contracts have been signed.

<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota:
<br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Kough and upon vote
<br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor Ihlan, Kough, Maschka, Pust and Klausing and the
<br />following voted against the same: none.

<br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
