<br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular lneeting of the City Council of the City <br />of Rose vi lIe, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held at the City Hall on Monday, the 10th <br />day of April 2006 at 6:00 p.ln. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Ihlan, Kough, Maschka, Pust and Klausing. <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Council Member Kough introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10396 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO AN EXISTING CONDITIONAL <br />USE PERMIT TO ALLOW 83 s.f. of SIGNAGE ALONG THE EAST AND NORTH <br />EDGE OF A FUEL CANOPY, LOCATED AT SPEEDWAY SUPERAMERICA, 2295 <br />RICE STREET (PF2711) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an application was subnlitted by Speedway SuperAmerica to mnend an <br />existing CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT to allow additional signage on the fuel canopy; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Conlmission held the public hearing on March 1, 2006, <br />recommending approval of the request, subject to specific conditions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission reviewed and approved the final staff report and <br />calculations at a subsequent meeting (AprilS, 2006), and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council (the "Council") of the City <br />of Roseville, (the "City"), Ramsey County, Minnesota, to approve the application of Speedway <br />SuperAnlerica to AMEND an existing CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT to allow additional <br />signage at 2295 Rice Street subject to four conditions: <br /> <br />A. Each sign shall be limited to a maximmTI of 41.56 sq. ft. as indicated on proposed <br />signage plan by Lawrence Sign, dated January 10, 2006 or a maximum building wall <br />signage allowance of 200 sq. ft. <br /> <br />B. The two approved signs shall be located on the north (one) and east ( one) face of the fuel <br />canopy. <br /> <br />C. The applicant and lor agent must submit a Sign Permit consistent with this An1ended <br />Conditional Use Permit; the sign permit must be reviewed and approved by the Roseville <br />Community Development Department. <br /> <br />D. The amendment to the conditional use permit will expire within six months from the date <br />of City Council approval if a sign permit is not obtained (October 10, 2006). <br />
