OSHA Required Training for PPE <br /> <br />2004 FIRE DEPARTMENT BUDGET IMPACT: <br /> <br />The Fire Department has proposed the addition of a full-time Training <br />Manager for the 2004 budget at a cost of $69,400. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDED COUNCIL ACTION: Motion to approve the hiring of a full-time <br />Training Manager at revenue neutral position for the 2004 budget with projected city <br />wide savings recognized in 2005. Projected savings will include $8,000 savings from police <br />medical training and $5,300 from reduced contracted safety training. <br /> <br />4 <br />
