<br />Regular City Council-12/15/03 Minutes <br />Page 8 <br /> <br />Section 7 of the project report dated December 15, 2003; <br />and subject to the following conditions: (a-k) <br /> <br />City Planner Paschke noted a revision to the conditions in <br />the proposed resolution and action that reflected a <br />Planning Commission recommendation for the addition to <br />the conditions of Item C., "A maximum building height of <br />fifteen feet (15') to the mid-point of the roof truss, with <br />the design being a hip style." <br /> <br />Kysylyczyn withdrew his original n10tion, and moved as <br />stated in the draft resolution provided as a bench handout, <br />to include condition a - j as noted. The second still stood. <br /> <br />Mr. Paschke reviewed the request for variances having to <br />do with the proximity of setbacks; and noted the Planning <br />Commission recomn1endation for denial for any rear yard <br />encroachment in finding no hardship to grant a rear yard <br />vanance. <br /> <br />Discussion included location and number of curb cuts for <br />garage access. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Kough, Maschka, Klausing, Schroeder and <br />Kysylyczyn. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />8.2 <br />Kysylyczyn moved, Schroeder seconded, adoption of <br />Resolution No. 10171 entitled, "A Resolution Denying a <br />Variance to Section 1004.02D5 (Dwelling Dimensions - <br />Rear Yard Setback) of the Roseville City Code, based on <br />the following findings (as recommended by the Planning <br />Conunission): (a-d); for rear yard setback <br /> <br />Dan Norris, 1547 Sextant Avenue (Applicant) <br />Mr. Norris spoke in favor of Council consideration of his <br />request for a rear yard setback variance to address noise <br />and light pollution issues due to the property's proximity <br />to the freeway; and in order to make the back yard more <br />usable.
