<br />City of <br /> <br />~~~ <br /> <br />Special Meeting <br />Roseville City Council and <br />Roseville Area School Board <br />Meeting Notes <br />Fairview Community Center <br />Saturday, April 8, 2006 <br /> <br />Councilmembers Ihlan, Maschka, Kough and Pust, and Mayor Attendance <br />Klausing were in attendance. <br /> <br />Also present were ISD 623 School Board members, members of the <br />public, and staff members from the City and the School District. <br /> <br />The meeting was Called to Order at approximately 9 a.ill. <br /> <br />Call to Order <br /> <br />1. Introductions Introductions <br />School Board Chair Linda McLoon welcomed everyone to this <br />meeting to talk about a possible community center. <br /> <br />2. Facilitation X <br />Sally Latimer, staff member from the School District, lead the <br />group through a facilitated conversation about a community <br />center. Among other topics, the group responded to focus <br />questions such as: <br />. What would the community lose if a community center <br />were not built? <br />. What features are important in a community center? <br />. What site characteristics are important? <br />The response to these and other questions are collected on Notes <br />taken by Merrie Zekaharis, staff member from the School <br />District. These Notes are attached hereto. <br /> <br />3. Conclusion X <br />Sally Latimer asked sub-groups to discuss and report back about <br />what commitment they were willing to make respecting a <br />
