Deb Mosby, 935 Sherren <br />Ms. Mosby noted that she had previously written the City <br />Council regarding alcohol statutes in Roseville; and <br />explained her quick response and concerns. Ms. Mosby <br />noted her work over the last thirty years with youth; the <br />impacts of alcohol abuse; and the need for compliance <br />checks and enforcement. <br /> <br />Ms. Mosby cited the risk in minor-age alcohol use and <br />abuse; and cited several specific examples in her work with <br />teens; and requested Council consideration of her personal <br />observations in their deliberations. <br /> <br />E. John Kysylyczyn, 3083 N Victoria Street <br />Mr. Kysylyczyn addressed several areas of "stupid <br />spending" in government; how taxes were tied to policy <br />discussions; and provided his historical perspective of <br />campaign promises made by Councilmembers versus their <br />votes related to tax levy increases. Mr. Kysylyczyn opined <br />that the City Council should apply their principles or follow <br />positions provided to the public when they were running <br />for office. <br /> <br />F. Joanie Erickson (Written e-mail comment) <br />Staff provided written comment of Ms. Erickson, unable to <br />attend tonight's meeting, regarding her request that the City <br />Council require solicitors to have City-issued permits.
