<br />~ <br /> <br />City Council Minutes <br />Meeting of <br />January 28, 2002 <br /> <br />The City Council met on the above date with all Inelnbers present 5:32 p.m. <br />(voting order): Schroeder, Maschka, Kough, Klausing and Roll Call <br />Kysylyczyn. <br /> <br />Work Session <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />Review of Regular Meeting Agenda <br /> <br />Kysylyczyn and Klausing discussed the agenda preparation <br />process. Council Members asked questions about various <br />agenda items. <br /> <br />Kysylyczyn moved, Schroeder seconded, to lay the Klausing <br />Agenda on the table. Roll Call, Ayes: Schroeder, Kough, and <br />Kysylyczyn. Nays: Maschka and Klausing. <br /> <br />Kough indicated he supported the ability of any council <br />n1elnber to put things on the agenda <br /> <br />II. Additional Staff Presentations <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />Draft of Possible City Council Policy Issues and Goals <br />- Preparation for Work Shops with Carl Neu <br />Beets presented an overview of son1e of the attachments <br />that touch upon questions about son1e potential City <br />Council policy issues and goals. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />Tour of Northwest Youth & Family Services <br />Maschka announced the tour and encouraged council <br />members to attend. <br /> <br />c. <br /> <br />Discussion of BRA tour in Austin, Minnesota <br />Welsch discussed the activities of the Austin Housing <br />Redeveloplnent Authority, especially the Inarket rate <br />apalin1ents and subsidized townhon1es.
