<br />City of Roseville <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1338 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ADDING <br />CHAPTER 206 <br />ETHICS COMMISSION <br /> <br />THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE ORDAINS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1: A new Title Two, Chapter 206 of the Roseville City Code is added to read as <br />follows: <br /> <br />206.01: ESTABLISHMENT AND MEMBERSHIP: <br /> <br />There is established an ethics commission of the City which shall consist of five (5) members <br />appointed by the City Council. Members shall be residents of the City and appointed for three <br />(3) year staggered terms. Terms of the initial members will be established by the council at the <br />time of their appointment. No member shall serve more than two (2) full consecutive terms. <br /> <br />206.02: ORGANIZATION: <br /> <br />The Commission shall annually elect one member to serve as chairperson and one member to <br />serve as vice chairperson. <br /> <br />206.03: MEETINGS AND REPORTS: <br /> <br />The Commission shall annually adopt a regular meeting schedule and may hold other <br />meetings, as it deems necessary. The Commission may adopt rules for the transaction of <br />business and shall keep a record of its meetings and actions. <br /> <br />206.04: DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS: <br /> <br />The duties and functions of the Commission shall be as follows <br /> <br />A. Serve in an advisory capacity to the City Council on matters involving any ethics code <br />adopted by the City Council. <br /> <br />B. Administer any ethics code adopted by the City Council. <br /> <br />C. Perform other duties and functions or conduct studies as specifically directed or <br />delegated by the City Council. <br /> <br />Page 1 of2 <br />
