<br />Exhibit A <br /> <br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA <br />$1,550,000 MULTIFAMILY HOUSING REFUNDING <br />REVENUE BONDS, SERIES 1997 <br />(ROSEPOINTE II PROJECT) <br /> <br />Notice is hereby given by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota <br />(the "City") that it will hold a public hearing at the City Hall, 2660 Civic Center <br />Drive, Roseville Minnesota, on September 22, 1997, at 6:30 p.m. to consider a <br />proposal to issue not to exceed $1,550,000 aggregate principal amount of its <br />Multifamily Housing Refunding Revenue Bonds, Series 1997 ( RosePointe II <br />Project) (the "Bonds") pursuant to Chapter 462C, Minnesota Statutes, as amended. <br />The proceeds of the Bonds will be used to refund an equal principal amount of the <br />City's outstanding Multifamily Housing Revenue Bonds, Series 1985-B (RosePointe <br />Project) (the "Refunded Bonds") heretofore issued by the City to fund a loan to <br />RosePointe Housing Limited Partnership, a Minnesota limited partnership (the <br />"Borrower"). The proceeds of the Refunded Bonds were used to acquire and <br />renovate a rental housing facility of approximately 42 units located at 2255 North <br />Hamline Avenue in the City. The Bonds, if issued, will not be deemed to constitute <br />a debt or liability of the City or the State of Minnesota (the "State") or any political <br />subdivision thereof or a pledge of the faith and credit and taxing powers of the City <br />or the State or any such political subdivision. <br /> <br />All parties desiring to appear at the public hearing will be afforded an <br />opportunity to express their views with respect to the proposal to issue the Bonds. <br />'Written comments may be submitted to the City Manager at the City Hall prior to <br />the hearing, which written comments will be read and considered at the hearing. <br /> <br />/ s/Steve Sarkozy <br />City Manager <br />
