EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF .\IEETI~G OF CITY COL~CIL OF ROSEVILLE, .\IINNESOTA - HELD AUGUST 25, 1997 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuam to due cal1 and notice thereof. a regular meeting of tlle City Council of the Ciry of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called and helù at (he City Hall in said City on Augus t 25 1997 The following members were present: Wiski (arrived late). Mastel. Goedeke, Maschka and Wa11 and the following members were absent: None Member adoption. Mastel introduced the following Resolution and moved IS RESOLUTION NO. 91143 A RESOLUTION ORDERING ABATEMENT OF NUISANCE AT 2553 PASCAL. WHEREAS. the City Council of the City of Roseville finds the property locateù at 2553 Pascal to be a public nuisance within the meaning of City Code Section 407.02 because the property has tall grasses and nuisance weeds greater than eight (8) inches in height in locations prohibited under Section 407. 02C; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Roseville deem it to be in the public interest to abate the nuisance and, pursuant to City Code Section 407.07, assess the property for the cost of said abatement. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, AS FOllOWS: 1. The City Manager, Community Development Director and Code Enforcement Officers are instrtrtted to take appropriate action, including but not limited to cutting of tall grasses and nuisance weeds, to abate the public nuisance located at 2553 Pascal at the City's cost, and thereafter assessing the property for the cost of said abatement. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member Maschka and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: Wi ski, Mastel, Goedeke, Maschka and Wall and the following voted against the same: None WHEREUPON, the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
