All these issues were addressed for the new Cub store at Har Mar, but
do existing stores NOT have to follow.similar city regulations?

The < grassy area on the other side of the wooden fence on Dionne street between
Lindy and Dunlap Avenues is overgrown with weeds and full of trash and, often,
over-turned shopping carts. The more lawn-like area at Dunlap (owned by
Rainbow?) is at least cut once or twice a summer, put the woods.yPflrt:fllQIlg
I)iQune (owned by Heritage) is not. Last June I called about this; Pam Barney
of Heritage claimed they were not responsible for the property and she had to
be told they DID own it by Marty of the city inspection department (who
retired 6/30/01). Finally, in Atlgust, after more calls to city-hall, it was
weed-whacked, but the cut grass, downed tree branches and accumulated litter
was not hauled away. Unless I call about problems, NO clean up is ever done.

What I can't understand is, Heritage must be a company that has pride in their
appearance as they just finished a remodeling/paint job of the place and yet
doesn't give a damn about their trash flying around the community. The same
can be said for Rainbow -- aren't they expanding into the former Creative
Expressions site? Bigger store=more customers=more litter. Great. Heritage
and Rainbow could certainly pay someone to clean up the parking lots and back
of the buildings so trash wouldn't blow around. And hiring a grounds-keeping
crew to mow the grass once a month wouldn't be a large expense.

I would appreciate a call back about solutions to these problems. I can be
reached during the day at 612-625-2516.

Thank you.

Wendy Williamson
1727 Lindy Avenue
Roseville, MN 55113
