Kough concurred with Maschka. <br />Kysylyczyn commented that he sought conceptual <br />approval of a goal now with more detailed work to come <br />before a specific dollar amount is set. <br /> <br />Kough moved Kysylyczyn seconded, to approve Phase 1 <br />of the I3 Plan and set property tax referendum date for <br />November 5, 2002 with the specific dollar amount to be <br />set by the Council at a later date. Schroeder offered <br />amendments: 1) "target" and 2) concepts, estimates and <br />action/timeline by as soon as possible. Roll Call, Ayes: <br />Kough, Maschka, Schroeder and Kysylyczyn. Nays: <br />Klausing. <br /> <br />B. Police Chief Position Police Chief Position <br />Kysylyczyn asked Maschka for his ideas and <br />suggestions. Maschka did not object to hiring a police <br />chief. <br /> <br />C. Council-Employee Communication Council-Employee <br />Schroeder indicated he would meet with Beets and Communication <br />J amnik. <br /> <br />VII. A. & B.) because these concepts have <br />been previously approved by a majority of the Council. <br /> <br />First Reading <br />PW Transportation <br />Commission <br /> <br />Schroeder moved, Kysylyczyn seconded, to hold the first <br />reading of an ordinance amending Title 2 of the <br />Roseville City Code, adding a new Chapter 205, <br />Establishing a Public Works and Transportation <br />Commission. Roll Call, Ayes: Klausing, Kough, <br />Schroeder and Kysylyczyn. Nays: Maschka. <br />
