Arona Master Plan: Issuing a Request for Developer <br />Proposals <br />Schroeder moved, Kough seconded, to approve the <br />Arona Site Request for Proposal and direct staff to <br />distribute as per the attached schedule. <br /> <br />Welsch asked the Council to follow through on its <br />approval of the Arona master Plan by authorizing staff to <br />issue a request for proposals to develop the Master Plan <br />Concept. <br /> <br />Sam Marks, resident, suggested using the language in <br />paragraph 3.5 within 3.4 of the draft RFP. <br /> <br />Schroeder spoke to future Council opportunities to <br />address this situation. <br /> <br />Kysylyczyn moved, Kough seconded to amend the RFP <br />by copying the following language from paragraph 3.5 <br />and also incorporating it into paragraph 3.4: "must <br />include open space adj acent to the pond and existing <br />neighborhood to the north of the site." Roll Call, Ayes: <br />Klausing, Kough, Schroeder and Kysylyczyn. Nays: <br />none. <br /> <br />Then the Council voted on the original motion for <br />approval, as just amended: Roll Call, Ayes: Klausing, <br />Kough, Schroeder and Kysylyczyn. Nays: none. <br /> <br />VI. Organizational Business <br />A. Discussion of Photography Policy <br />Kysylyczyn reviewed the State Senate's photography <br />policy relating to political campaign uses of pictures <br />taken by public employees for public purposes. <br /> <br />Kough moved, Kysylyczyn seconded, to have the City <br />Manager investigate and report back to the Council about <br />such a policy.
