<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of <br />the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall in said City on <br />Monday, the 25th day of August, 1997. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Wiski (arrived late), Mastel, Goedeke, <br />Maschka and Wall <br />and the following were absent: none <br /> <br />Council member Mastel introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9444 <br />A RESOLUTION ORDER ABATEMENT OF HAZARDOUS <br />CONDITIONS AT 2553 PASCAL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Roseville finds the property located at <br />2553 Pascal to be a hazardous building within the meaning of Minnesota Statute <br />C^",+i,..", At::'2 11:;. h",,..,,,, I~'" i+ i~ in~no",,~tol\l m~int~inon nil!:lnin~to.n Ilnc::~nit~nl ~nrl <br />UC\.IUVII -,.vtJ. J -. ,- <br /> <br />damaged such that it constitutes a hazard to public health and safety; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Roseville deems it to be in the public <br />interest to order the property owner to correct the hazardous conditions and upon the <br />failure of the property owner to comply with said order, correct the hazardous condition <br />itself and assess the property for the cost of s::id correction. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCil OF THE CITY <br />OF ROSEVlllE, MINNESOTA, AS FOllOWS: <br /> <br />1. The City Manager, Community Development Director, Code Enforcement <br />Officers and City Attorney are instructed to take appropriate action, including but not <br />limited to: remove feces from the house and property; professionally clean/sanitize <br />floors; remove feces-stained mattress/carpet; professionally clean/treat premises for <br />pests; remove all food/debris from floors; evaluate and correct structural stability of <br />house in compliance with building code; seal the vacant building from weather damage, <br />to abate the hazardous conditions located at 2553 Pascal at the City's cost, and <br />thereafter assessing the property for the cost of said abatement. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resoution was duly seconded by <br />Council member Maschka and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br />favor thereof: Wiski, Mastei, Goeàeke, Maschka and Vvaii <br />and the following voted against the same: none <br /> <br />'^,kll=Q¡::IIP(')f\I tho.
