<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETI~G OF CITY COL~CIL <br />OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA - HELD AUGUST 25, 1997 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * . * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant [Q due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the Ciry Hall in said City on Augus t <br />25. 1997 <br /> <br />The following members were present: <br />Wall <br /> <br />Wi ski , Mastel, Gledeke, Maschka and <br /> <br />----.---- <br /> <br />and the following members were absent: None <br /> <br />Member <br />adoption. <br /> <br />Goedeke <br /> <br />introduced the following R~solutioI1 and moved is <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9445 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ORDERING ABATEMENT OF NUISANCE AT 2012 ELDRIDGE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, (he City Council of the City of Roseville finds (he property located at 2012 <br />Eldridge to be a public nuisance within the meaning or City Code Sec;jon 407.02 because the <br />propeny has tall grasses and nuisance weeds greater than eight (8) inches in height in locations <br />prohibited under Section 407.02C and piles of yard waste which have he en left unattended and <br />which are attracting rodents, pests and are unsightly; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. the City Council of the City of Roseville deem it to be in the public interest <br />ro abate the nuisance and, pursuant to City Code Section 407.07, assess the property for the cost <br />of said abatement. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COONCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />- <br />1. The City Manager. Community Development Director and Code Enforcement <br />Officers are instructed to take appropriate action, including but not limited to cutting of tall <br />grasses and nuisance weeds and removal of yard waste, to abate the public nuisance located at <br />2012 Eldridge at the City's cost, and thereafter assessing the prope;-ty for the cost of said <br />abatement. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Ma 5 te I and upon vote being taken thereon, <br /> <br />the following voted in favor: Wi ski , Mastel, Goedeke, Maschka and Wall <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: None <br /> <br />WHEREUPO~, the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, <br />
